Nothing quite says Fall like taking a trip to the pumpkin patch and picking out the perfect pumpkin to carve! Luckily, you get a whole lot more on that trip to the patch than just the perfect pumpkin. Many patches have hay rides, face paintings, corn mazes, and more. Here’s my list of the best pumpkin patches around!
Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch
This one is definitely a favorite among HB residents! The admission is $4 (children under 2 are free) and parking is free during the week. This is one of the few patches where you can pick your pumpkin straight from the vine! There are a variety of activities including a corn maze, wagon ride, and U-Pick Vegetable Patch.
Pa’s Pumpkin Patch
Another town favorite! Pa’s pumpkin patch is located in Long Beach, right off PCH. They have been around for over 40 years! Can you believe that? They have over 20 attractions to keep the kids busy and entertained before or after they choose their perfect pumpkin!
Irvine Park Railroad’s Pumpkin Patch
This patch is located right behind the train station & admission is free! There are many activities including a train ride, hay ride, moon bounce, face painting and so much more to keep you and the family busy.
The Pumpkin Factory
If you’re an HB resident i’m sure you’ve seen this one from the 405! Located in the Westminster Mall Parking lot, this patch has rides, slides, ponies, and games! The pumpkins are grown on the family farm and brought here for you and you family to take home. They also have locations in Santa Ana and Live Oak Canyon! Did I mention admission is free? 😉
