Have you ever told yourself “I’m gonna wake up early and hit the gym!” and then totally snoozed that alarm and said “I’ll just go after work” and then decided you needed a glass of wine after your long day? Because same.
Incorporating activities into my health & wellness routine has been a huge change for me over the last year! It took a LONG time for me to get into a habit of regular exercise. What helped me start was fun outdoor activities! Hiking was the perfect way for me to start incorporating exercise into my daily life. There are so many beautiful spots to hike around Huntington that come in various levels of difficulty. I don’t know about you all, but nothing about running on a treadmill in a gym was “fun” to me. So I needed to get creative!
If you’re trying to get into that #fitlife, check out some of these ⬇ local hikes! I’m thinking of doing a hike meetup in the next few weeks too! So keep an eye out for that on my social media! If you don’t already, go follow me on Instagram and Facebook!
